ローマ字表記ガイド / Romanization Guide

このガイドでは、日本語の発音をそのままローマ字に表記するルールを示します。
すべての長音（ー）は ā, ī, ū, ē, ō のマクロン表記で統一します。

This guide shows the rules for writing Japanese pronunciation in romanized form.
All long vowels (ー) are written with macrons: ā, ī, ū, ē, ō.

1. 基本ルール / Basic Rules
母音 / Vowels

あ → a

い → i

う → u

え → e

お → o

子音 / Consonants

か → ka

さ → sa

た → ta

な → na

は → ha

ま → ma

や → ya

ら → ra

わ → wa

長音（ー） / Long Vowels

母音を伸ばすときはマクロン（ā, ī, ū, ē, ō）を使います。
Use macrons (ā, ī, ū, ē, ō) to mark long vowels.

おばあさん → Obāsan (grandmother)

コーヒー → Kōhī (coffee)

促音（っ） / Double Consonants

小さい「っ」は子音を重ねます。
Small "っ" is written by doubling the following consonant.

がっこう → Gakkō (school)

バッテリー → Batterī (battery)

拗音（ゃ、ゅ、ょ） / Combined Sounds

小さい「ゃ、ゅ、ょ」はそのまま組み合わせます。
Small "ゃ, ゅ, ょ" are combined directly.

きゃ → kya

しゅ → shu

ちょ → cho

2. 外来語の特殊音 / Special Sounds in Loanwords

外来語やカタカナ語で使われる特殊な音は以下のルールで表記します。
Loanwords and katakana words use the following rules.

ディ・ティ・トゥ・ドゥ / di, ti, tu, du

ディ → di

ティ → ti

トゥ → tu

ドゥ → du

パーティー → Pātī (party)

ファ行 / fa, fi, fe, fo

ファ → fa

フィ → fi

フェ → fe

フォ → fo

フェスティバル → Fesutibaru (festival)

ヴ音 / va, vi, ve, vo

ヴァ → va

ヴィ → vi

ヴェ → ve

ヴォ → vo

ヴィジョン → Vijon (vision)

その他 / Others

シェ → she

ジェ → je

チェ → che

ウィ → wi

ウェ → we

ウォ → wo

チェリー → Cherī (cherry)

3. 表記の一貫性 / Consistency

日本語の固有名詞も外来語も、同じルールで表記します。
Both native Japanese and loanwords follow the same rules.

長音は必ずマクロンで表記します。
Always use macrons for long vowels.

ティーチャー → Tīchā (teacher)

促音（っ）は子音重ねで表記します。
Double consonants for small "っ".

バッテリー → Batterī (battery)
